Lodz Special Economic Zone is established for 20 years and covers the area of 205 ha. Those investors who obtain permission from the manager of the manager of the zone to operate within its boundaries and who meet certain conditions (minimum investment 2 million ECU in the zone or employment of at least 100 workers per month) can apply for a total tax exemption for the first 10 years and 50 % income tax exemption for next years.

This airport was established in 1925 and has been engaged in regular air service ever since; since 1958 it has had regular domestic and international connections, thus servicing ca. 10% of domestic passenger conveyance which equals ca. 15 thousand people annually.
